Sion is a townhouse surprise in the centre of Pollensa’s thriving Old Town. With its pool, prime location and lockable internal bike storage for 4 bikes, it’s a top choice for cyclists and its story unfolds on three levels. Great first impressions begin with the artistic decor of the lounge-diner. They continue through to the stylish courtyard and plunge pool area outside. Uplifting flashes of jade and yellow abound, with glass doors which melt away to create one fluid space. The living space combines traditional and modern textures. Exposed stone walls pair beautifully with a sleek kitchen, and designer chairs and poolside loungers are great spots to relax with a culture mag or design book.
Sion is built over three levels and incorporates both traditional and modern features. Cool cantilever stairs rise up to three cosy bedrooms and a huge bathroom with walk-in shower. The first bedroom has a super king-size bed with Casper mattress, as well as a sliding door opening to a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV and remote controlled air conditioning. Additionally, there is a built-in wardrobe and a pocket door leading to an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Next, bedrooms two and three boast a floor to ceiling window with Juliet balconies, air conditioning, built in wardrobes and Smart TV’s. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, one of which can be made into a twin room, and share a very spacious adjacent bathroom.

The open plan, air conditioned living/dining/kitchen area on the ground floor has everything you need to enjoy time with friends and family. There is a 42-inch smart flat screen TV that has UK and Sky channels (a channel list is available). In addition, a Sonos system has been installed to enhance your viewing and music pleasure. A cassette style wood burner has also been installed for those chillier months. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances including a microwave, induction hob and oven and faces the dining area, allowing chefs to chat to guests whilst creating culinary masterpieces.
The large, glass doors to the private swimming pool area fold back, seamlessly extending the downstairs space. This sunny outdoor area features a pool (2x5m), comfy sofas, a Weber BBQ and an electric awning to provide shade when needed. At night, the downstairs area comes alive with feature lighting both inside and out.
The owners have a keen eye for detail and design, using artwork by local artists, Mallorcan Ikat fabrics, feature lighting and boutique hotel quality linen and towels. Furthermore, they are keen cyclists. Therefore they have provided a bicycle storage up to 4 bikes, complete with track pump. The house benefits from fast fibre optic wireless internet. There is also a ground floor toilet and washing and drying facilities.
Sion is the perfect base to enjoy a holiday in Pollensa Old Town, the nearby Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and the beautiful nearest beaches of Northern Mallorca such as Puerto Pollensa and Cap de Formentor. Whether you are a hiker, cyclist or leisure-lover, Pollensa and surrounding areas will not disappoint.
