Climb the Calvari steps in Pollensa

North Mallorca

An absolute must to do in Pollensa is climb the steps that lead from Calvari square up to Calvário Chapel. Be warned, there are 365 steps, one for each day of the year, but the view from the top is magnificent.

Did you know?

To avoid attack by pirates in the 13th century, Pollensa was built four miles inland from the port.

Every house at the side of the Calvari steps represent a month.

The square, Place Mayor, is the place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

Sancturi del Puig de Maria is the oldest monestery of Mallorca, you can reach it by a beautiful climb up.

The biggest festive of the year is La patrona and is celebrated in August.
